01Who may use ECUSA

You must provide truthful, current information and be legally able to accept these Terms. A parent or legal guardian must provide any consent required by applicable law for a minor. ECUSA may request reasonable information to verify identity, eligibility, enrollment, payments, examination results, or certificates.

02Accounts and security

Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for protecting your password and verification codes and for activity performed through your account. Do not share credentials, impersonate another person, or allow someone else to take an assessment for you. Notify ECUSA promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

03Courses and learning services

Course schedules, instructors, learning formats, assignments, group access, and program content may vary by level or session. ECUSA may make reasonable operational changes, including replacing an instructor, adjusting a schedule, or updating learning materials. Material changes affecting an enrolled learner will be communicated when practical.

Progress and outcomes depend on attendance, participation, completed work, assessment performance, and individual effort. ECUSA does not guarantee a particular job, interview result, academic admission, immigration outcome, or level of fluency.

04Exams, homework, and academic integrity

You must complete required work honestly and follow the instructions provided for each assessment. Cheating, copying, unauthorized collaboration, identity substitution, sharing protected questions, or attempting to manipulate scores or access may result in an invalid attempt, withheld result, suspended access, or other proportionate action.

Eligibility, attempt limits, cooldown periods, passing thresholds, and publication of results are determined by the applicable program and exam settings. Where identity verification is required, access may be withheld until verification is completed.

05Payments and access

Prices, currencies, and the product or service being purchased are displayed at checkout or recorded by authorized ECUSA staff for approved manual payments. You are responsible for reviewing those details and providing an accurate payment reference. Access may remain pending while a payment is verified.

Payment does not guarantee a passing grade, certificate, or admission unless the stated eligibility and completion requirements are met. Exam payments and other refunds or corrections are governed by the Refund Policy.

06Books and digital materials

Books, downloads, recordings, lesson resources, and other digital materials are licensed for the purchaser’s personal, non-commercial use unless ECUSA gives written permission otherwise. You may not reproduce, resell, publicly distribute, upload, or remove ownership notices from protected materials.

07Events and community spaces

Event registration is subject to availability, published deadlines, and any event-specific instructions. In ECUSA classes, groups, events, and communication channels, users must act respectfully. Harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse, spam, fraud, unlawful content, and conduct that disrupts the community are prohibited.

08Results, report cards, and certificates

Results, report cards, and certificates reflect ECUSA records and requirements at the time of issue. A certificate confirms completion of the identified ECUSA program or level; it does not represent government licensing, university credit, immigration approval, or third-party accreditation unless the certificate expressly states otherwise. ECUSA may correct clerical errors and may revoke a document obtained through fraud or material academic misconduct.

09Website content and intellectual property

The ECUSA name, branding, website, course content, assessment content, designs, text, graphics, videos, and software are owned by or licensed to ECUSA and are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules. These Terms grant only the limited right to use the services for their intended purpose.

10Service availability and third parties

ECUSA works to keep its services available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, internet or hosting interruptions, payment-provider delays, messaging platforms, and other third-party services may affect access. Third-party services are also governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

11Suspension and termination

ECUSA may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate fraud or security concerns, enforce payment or eligibility rules, address serious misconduct, or comply with law. When appropriate, ECUSA will explain the issue and provide a reasonable opportunity to contact support. Obligations concerning payments, intellectual property, records, and disputes survive account closure where applicable.

12Privacy

ECUSA’s collection and use of personal information are explained in the Privacy Policy. By using third-party communication or payment services, you also acknowledge that those providers may process information under their own policies.

13Responsibility and limitations

ECUSA provides educational and community services with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ECUSA is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, decisions made using educational information, or failures caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

14Changes and resolving concerns

ECUSA may update these Terms as its services or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be communicated when appropriate. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Before beginning a formal dispute, please contact ECUSA so the concern can be reviewed. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to ECUSA’s operations in Haiti, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
